As we put to a close, the last chapter of another banner year for Rotary District 3850 under the leadership of Gov. James Makasiar with the theme Building Communities Bridging Continents’, we cannot express our appreciation enough to all of you in the district for your cooperation.

Like any leader in the Rotary world, seeing your term end is a welcome relief. Relief, because you have come to a point of turning over to the new set of leaders for a new year and most especially your achieving the rigors of leading has proved its worth.

I am pretty sure that by now, Gov. James will be able to sleep soundly and no longer being mindful of the constant reminders for us to comply with deadlines and goals set for the rotary year. He will just be looking back with a little more ease, and concentrate more on his business venture.

To our new Governor Melvin, we wish you all the best in your new journey in steering the district to greater heights.
