Governor's Profile

Mark is active in the real estate and resort sector of the Province of Capiz. He is presently the President of their family-owned developer outfit, AnCor Development Corp., and the Vice-President of San Antonio Resort-Village (Roxas City), Inc. He holds a MBA degree from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL, USA with undergraduate degree of Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University.

He has served as City Councilor for three (3) consecutive terms in their City legislature, during which he ably represented his City in numerous travels abroad, and is now active in Church and non-government work, foremost of which are Rotary and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. His Silver and Gold Foundation for Family and Life, Inc. operates a mobile soup kitchen and sponsors low-income but deserving high school students who have difficulty with their transportation in going to school.

He was President of the Rotary Club of Roxas in RY 2002-03 and has served his District (3850) as Assistant Governor and as chairman and member in various District Committees. He will be serving Rotary International as District Governor in RY 2013-14.
