The Visionary Governor

Jude is Chair and President of a pharmaceutical marketing and distribution firm Megapharma Inc. Concurrently, he also sits on the Board of other Corporations. Previously, he was President and General Manager of Tyco Integrated Systems Phils. Inc., a provider of security, fire alarm and SCATS traffic systems. Active in the business community, he is a former member of both the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and the Philippine Contractors’ Association. He is a past executive chair of Alay Lakad, Bacolod City, an organization that raises funds for youth vocational training programs, and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Alay Lakad Foundation since 2010.

He became a member of the Rotary Club of Manila Bay in 2003. When he transferred back to Bacolod, he joined the Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod and became its President in RY2008-2009. During his term as Club President, he became the Chairman of the Council of Presidents for Zones 5, 6 and 7 and was awarded as the Most Outstanding President in Category A. His Club was likewise awarded as the Most Outstanding Club in Category A. He became Assistant Governor of Zone 7 in RY2010-2011, was our District Secretary in RY 2012-2013 and is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow.

Coming from the corporate world, he considers his strengths his people’s skill and his capacity to create a vision.

He is married to Jane, an endocrinologist, who is also a Paul Harris Fellow, and they have a daughter named Patricia. For recreation, he enjoys golf and bowling.
